CHRISTOPHER D. K. MARSHALL

Chris Marshall (born November 7, 2003) is a college football wide receiver for the Texas A&M Aggies. Marshall hails from Missouri City, TX where he attended Fort Bend Marshall High School. At 6’4 and 200 pounds, he is a two-sport athlete who lettered in both football and basketball before entering college.

High School Career

Marshall was a 4-year letterman in basketball and two-year letterman in football. He was named District 11-5A-II Offensive MVP following both his junior and senior seasons (he did not begin playing football until his junior season). During his junior season he hauled in 45 catches for 1, 009 yards and 18 touchdowns. Senior season with only seven games played he recorded 466 yards at 31.1 yards per catch and 11 touchdowns. Highlights of Marshall’s stellar off-season high school career was the AAU’s Nike EYBL circuit where he played with JL3’s top basketball team. He made the ‘Honorable Mention’ All-Peach Jam Team in 2021. Marshall was also a top offensive performer at the Under Armour All-America Game 2022.

Basketball Stats & Accomplishments

As a 4-year letterman, Chris Marshall was named to the Freshman/Sophomore Cream-of-the-Crop Camp Top 30 Team; projected Top 10 Class of 2022 (Preps Camp). During his high school sophomore season, he scored double figures in 22 of the first 23 games; Led the team in scoring for the season; Nederland Tournament MVP and led the team in scoring with no losses, where he averaged double digits every game of the tournament. Opening game his junior season, he scored 25 points and every game he played that season he finished with double figures in scoring averaging 21.6 pts. per game. The Marshall Buffs scored 100 points in 3 games during his senior season; Marshall averaged 29 pts. in 2 out of those 3 games. In his final high school season, he averaged over 1000 points in his high school career and went undefeated in District play averaging 21.9 pts. per game; FBISD Tournament Silver Div. Champs and led the team in scoring.

AAU Basketball

Marshall played AAU with JL3 17U EYBL Nike Team: Nike Peach Jam Tournament Honorable Mention; led in free-throws made (got to the line 47% of the teams’ possessions); he averaged double figures in the Peach Jam tournament; Leaderboard top 20 in steals per game (SPG).

Football Season

As a 2-year letterman, Marshall led the Buffaloes in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, yards after catch, and average yards per catch. During his high school career, he was named 11- 5A District Offensive MVP both junior and senior season. He was named Player of the Week multiple times, 11- 5A 1st Team All-District Wide Receivers 2021, District 11-5A Div. II Texas High School Football Top WR (13-454-11), and selected to the 2021 Houston Touchdown Club Pre-Season Team. He was selected to play in the Adidas All-American Game, Polynesian Bowl Game, and the Under Armour All-America Game. He participated in the Under Armour game where he led both teams in receiving with 6 receptions for 84 yds. He capped off his high school career as a 5-star football recruit in January 2022, #3 WR in the country, Top 20 ESPN Top 300 List, #8 overall recruit in TX, #2 WR recruit in TX.
